Linen Finds

Vintage linen....it's the only kind I use these days. It's always exciting to come across a pattern I adore.
Like these 2 pillowcases, made in New York & never used.

Queen bed bedspread, complete with fringing.
That 70's pattern caught my eye

A couple of scarves for my slow growing collection

My Mum has quite the collection of vintage tea towels, & she passed on some from her stash.

I remember saying only a while back that I never see vintage bedspreads at my local op shops. Now I've come across my third in a matter of months. This blue paisley queen bedspread is in a corduroy fabric.
If I hide it in the linen cupboard the Captain will never notice!

  2. I spy a wee nz teatowel!! I love all your lovely linen - they really don't make it like this anymore. So pretty. I think we may have had that fringed bedspread (or something strikingly similar) when I was little :)

  16. That zig-zaggy scarf is just stunning, what a find. I love the green and white pillow cases too, so fresh looking. They remind me of a favourite set of vintage sheets i cut up for craft projects (we dont have a single bed so not completely scareligious!) i'm still mourning using the last of it up and hoping for a similar find...great to have you linking in!
