She's a Brick and I'm Drowning Slowly

I scored this frock from an op shop on K-Road in Auckland. It cost me $5NZ, & I've already worn it a lot. Although it's polyester, it's really light, & still wearable on a summers day. I seem to be rather taken with the red & navy combo at the moment.

The Captain & I are off for a weekend away with my parents, who are holidaying in northern New South Wales. I'm hoping I'll be well enough to travel, as I've had a rough week with my heart not beating like it should, which has made me feel pretty ill & it's harder to be upright. We're still trying to get the dosage right on my heart failure drug.
I think my mum has the op shops scoped out for me already so that might save me some legwork! I must admit I've packed 9, or is it 10? frocks for 3 days, & a tin full of accessories! A girls gotta have options!
