Lady Carol Frock Friday

It's the perfect time of year to wear my 'Lady Carol' frock that I bought off Etsy last year & posted about here. It came as a set with a matching jacket. It's a thick crimplene shift dress with a ILGWU tag (the International Ladies Garment Worker Union). The tag dates it to around 1974. There is some great info on Union tags at the Vintage Fashion Guild website.

I wanted to post my 'Lady Carol' frock in honour of my dear friend Carol, who reads my blog & is one of the most amazing women you'll ever meet & such a blessing to so many, including me.
Thank you for your constant love, prayers & support.
 Love you! Xx

  11. Love the dress and you look Amazing in it! I am so pleased that you got your little parcel. I realise now that it is most probably the wrong present as its been so warm. I was hoping that you might be able to use it during the winter, but by the sounds of it (which I found out too late!) you have your own little heating system going on in there. Hope you are feeling ok? Much love xoxo
