One Look in My Eyes and You Can Tell That's True

Today's frock is a recent Ebay purchase from the UK. The green & navy cotton combo just spoke to me, & I do love a bit of pretend patchwork. The skirt is rather flippy....I feel a bit like a cheerleader when I wear it.

We've spending the day with the Captains sister (& one of my best friends) & her family, who are over for a visit from New Zealand. I got to meet my niece for the first time which was just wonderful. Isn't she delicious?!!! We'll hopefully see a bit more of them before they head home next week.

  1. Your outfit is fantastic! I love the combination of navy and green and white. I've always intended to one day visit Brisbane again and explore the Woolloongabba Antique Centre. I can't imagine the goodies that could be hiding in there. And your niece is too cute!

  13. Oh I love that patchwork print dress! It's a very similar fabric to the 1970s dress I picked up which needs something doing to it to make it wearable - you've reminded me to crack on with that! As usual you have styled it to absolute perfection.
    Ahhhh, beautiful niece! xxxx

  15. I think that must be such a fun outfit to wear. How flowy the dress is and then the structure of the jacket and boots. So absolutely lovely. And those broaches are so much fun.
