The Jeannie Frock

Today's frock is a recent Ebay purchase from the U.K. I was super pleased that the bidding didn't go too crazy & I picked it up for a good price. I like the fact it's cotton, has big buttons down the front, & I like the colours with a touch of turquoise & mustard. And it has pockets....what girl doesn't like pockets?! The only thing I'm not sure about is the length, & whether I should take the hem up a smidge to my knee? It hits right below the knee which sometimes looks a bit frumpy on me. Would you take it up or leave it as it is?

  1. Lovely frock. I don't mind the length, it doesn't look frumpy at all. The painted wooden brooch is stunning! Enjoy the weekend, Tam x

  2. I think the length's great, very ladylike and glam! A super pretty frock is always better with pockets and you've accessorised it perfectly! xxx

  5. You're right .It needs a bit shortening but just a bit or else it will lose that vintage feel. It's the lovliest find though and you super accessorized it and gave it the sweetest touch with your bag.

  16. If you take it up a bit you can always let it down again if you change your mind. I love the buttons down the front and the print is gorgeous. The three birds on the wall behind you are fantastic.
