Continuing on from my big spend up last post, here are some more scores that I found at my local op shops. They seem to be chock-a-block with stock at this time of year, but kind of quiet at the same time, which suits me just fine.
Working vintage German Europa travel clock
Lifeline $1
2 Enamel flower thingymebobs.....I figured they'd be good for holding & hanging jewellery.
Vintage suitcase....great for garage storage
Vinnies
Tacky owl clock. Not vintage, but pretty kitsch!
It's eyes move side to side as the clock ticks which is pretty amusing.

ReplyDeleteyou are AMAZING at finding stuff. That owl clock is the most amazing thing, I really love it!! Everything you pick up is fantastic, the flowers are very sweet and looks like they fit their purpose perfectly. xxxx
ReplyDeleteYou have the magic touch, Leisa! Lovely finds! Great frock, especially the lime buttons, fab enamel flower thingamies, and the owl clock had to come home with you (my Littlest loves it!) xxxx

ReplyDeleteI have a sort of similar pair of flower thingamies, but older, maybe! I was given them in a swap, and they're smaller and not as funky as yours.I hang earrings on them, as that was what I figured they were for after some head scratching!
Hurrah for vintage cases; they're a real weakness of mine! Love the brooch!
You've scored well, my sweet!

I love those little travel alarm clocks. I have one myself and adore it "Even though everyone else says it ticks kinda loud"
The owl clock is SUPER AWESOME.... I would be a smug bug if I ever found one of those. I laughed at the CHEESE EATERS sticker on the suitcase. I don't know about you but I am ot sure I would be the type to slap "Cheese Eater" on any of my things. (BUT I DO REALLY LIKE CHEESE) ;)
Your dress is pretty!
