St Patty's Frock Friday

I don't need any reason for wearing a green frock. Green is my all time favourite colour after all. I do get asked sometimes whether it's St Patric's day (even when it isn't).....& as predicted I was asked that again today! Is it really that strange to be dressed in green? I bought this cotton frock from the Brisbane Vintage Fashion Fair. I like a dress with a zip (especially an original metal one), & the pointy collar is pretty funky too.

Worn with my latest tooled handbag.

Green vintage brooch from my Mum.
Vintage ring from Chapel St Bazaar in Melbourne.
Vintage bangle from the Vintage Textiles Fair in Auckland.

  3. You look gorgeous in that dress hon(you're gorgeous anyway ;)). Even though I am a purple girl, I would have to say green is up there as a aclose 2nd for me in colours..could even be in danger of knocking purple off the top spot, maybe not , lol, but could almost tie it. Hope the week has improved for you. XX C

  9. Lovely dress, the saint pats comments made me laugh..who asks those types of things..where are you hanging out?? The dress reminds me of an orange coat dress that my mother used to wear in the 70's. I will have to pull it out later and have a closer look. Enjoy your weekend, Tam x
