Old Tin Trunk

I bought this old green tin trunk from my local antique & collectibles shop a few years back....I've gotten a few well priced items from this store. I keep it in our spare bedroom. It is a bit shabby, but I love the original green colour. I keep a few of my tins on top, as well as one of my old lawn bowls bags.

This Willow tin/canister is a recent op shop find....it's the biggest tin I have.

  4. Tins are so useful, aren't they? Such a good idea to have different sizes, for different sized ...cupcakes and cookies....or maybe for treasured keepsakes or sewing. By the way, I just love the green dress in your last post - green really suits you. I do hope I find a green dress soon!

  8. Love the green trunk, esp the original paint. I have a smaller green one in our room, its great for storing little bits, and xmas presents :) The large willow tin is a great find. We had something very similar way back when, I wonder where it ended up?

You will be happy to know that green is the new colour for the season :O
